Xbox x Nike's ‘Space Jam’ collaboration includes new controller, LeBron 18 low

Xbox and Nike team up for a controller and sneaker bundle for Space Jam: A New Legacy on Friday, ahead of the film release. 

The design of both items is inspired by the duo of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. 

The LeBron 18 Low will come as a mismatched pair to represent the characters. The left shoe has an Earth-toned theme for Wile E. with the logo “that looks like an ACME contraption set to trap Road Runner,” as per the press release. The right shoe of course would be blue for Road Runner with a pop of yellow and a Nike logo in dust clouds.

For the wireless controller, it mainly looks like the aftermath scene of the rivalry and a textured grip. The ACME bomb is integrated with the D-pad of the wireless controller. For details, at the back of the controller, the phrases “Yeeow!” and “Beep! Beep!” are seen on the sides.

The bundle will be launched on July 15 in North America in the Nike SNKRS app.

Space Jam: A New Legacy follows the four-time NBA MVP LeBron James and his son, Dom,  as they try to go home safely after being trapped in the digital space by a rogue AI. The James team up with the undisciplined Looney Tunes gang for a high-stakes basketball match of AI-G against the Goon Squad. The film is slated for a July 16 theatrical release and on HBO Max for a month.
