'Fate: The Winx Saga' welcomes Paulina Chávez as Flora for Season 2
Some fairy exciting news just arrived today! Fate: The Winx Saga season 2 is now in production and a new cast member, Flora, finally enters the ancient school for fairies, Alfea.
Netflix has just announced that actress and singer Paulina Chavez will be joining the fairy club as Flora in the second season of The Winx Saga.
Chavez is known for her breakthrough role as Ashely Garcia in the Netflix comedy series, The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia directed by Eva Longoria.
Additionally, the upcoming season will also welcome Éanna Hardwicke (Normal People) as Sebastian and Brandon Grace as Grey.
Chavez, Hardwicke, and Grace will join returning cast members Abigail Cowen as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Eliot Salt as Terra, Elisha Applebaum as Musa, Sadie Soverall as Beatrix, Freddie Thorp as Riven, Danny Griffin as Sky, Theo Graham as Dane, Jacob Dudman as Sam, Ken Duken as Andreas and Rob James Collier as Silva.
Fate: The Winx Sagaga is based on Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club, which was created and produced by Rainbow Group’s founder and CEO, Iginio Straffi.
When the first season aired at the beginning of the year, the plot focused on Bloom’s journey in discovering her true existence in the Otherworld, a place where she and other fairies "must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.” There she met Stella, Musa, Terra, her closest confidant, Aisha, and her love interest, Sky.
The Winx Saga season 2 is already in production located in County Wicklow, Ireland. Release date has yet to be determined, but fans speculate it will be released around 2022.
