SB19 to release documentary on its recently concluded 'Pagtatag! World Tour'
P-pop sensation SB19 will release a documentary about its recently concluded year-long world tour.
ABS-CBN News reported that during the finale of its "Pagtatag! World Tour" last May 18 and 19 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, SB19 teased fans with a sneak peek of its documentary.
"Mahirap na mahirap 'yung journey toward big things. 'Yung puso, 'yung passion and everything, parang step by step talaga siya,” group leader Pablo is quoted as saying in the teaser.
The documentary will reportedly show the highs and lows of the Pagtatag! journey. It will also tackle the licensing issues the group faced with its former agency, ShowBT.
"Akala ko, sabay-sabay kami, magkakasama. Hindi pala... But we're very happy na na-overcome namin 'yun,” member Stell is quoted as saying in the teaser.
SB19 is already managing itself through 1Z Entertainment, with Pablo serving as chief executive officer.
The documentary is slated for release in cinemas in August 2024.
Formed in 2019, SB19 comprises Pablo, Stell, Justin, Josh, and Felip.
It’s known for the hits Go Up, Mapa, and Gento, which became a TikTok craze that also caught the attention of Korean idols.
Kicking off at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in June 2023, "The Pagtatag! World Tour" included 18 shows across 15 cities in the United States, Canada, and Japan.
Aside from the group’s catalog, the tour also featured the members’ performances from their solo projects.
