TikTok star claims he ‘groomed’ Millie Bobby Brown, actress’ reps hit back

Millie Bobby Brown’s representatives slammed TikTok star Hunter “Echo” Ecimovic, after claiming he had “groomed” the Stranger Things actress. 

In a statement provided to The Daily Beast, Brown’s side said Ecimovic's remarks were “not only dishonest, but also are irresponsible, offensive, and hateful.”

The term "grooming" is used when people of an older age builds a relationship with someone younger to eventually manipulate and abuse, often of a sexual nature.

“Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all,” they added.

The camp did not specify what type of action they will take.

Ecimovic, who said he was with Brown for about eight months, made crude comments in line with his sexual encounters with her in a recently concluded Instagram Live. It can be noted that a few snaps showing the two kissing and hugging each other in 2020 have surfaced online. Some netizens pointed out that Brown was only 16 years old then (under the age of consent in California), while Ecimovic was 20. 

One IG user commented: “Imagine being a grown adult and dating a kid. A groomer.” 

“Yeah, no I groomed her,” Ecimovic declared, later adding that it was “completely legal” and “approved by everybody that I was with.” 

“I was living at Millie’s house for eight months. How the f*** is that a lawsuit? I thought her mom and dad knew about everything,” he explained, stressing that he “has nothing to apologize for.” 

At some point, the social media personality, with nearly two million TikTok followers, even claimed “she knew how to suck that d**k” and that he “ate her a**” as he blurted out a laugh. 

Brown, who has been spotted hanging out with singer Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi, is yet to comment on the matter.
