A shooter and roguelike are your free game downloads this week

Who says "no" to free stuff? This week is a special one as two great games are available as free downloads, and all it costs is a signup to a digital storefront which offers free games every single week.

This week's free video games from the Epic Games Store is a critically-received FPS which will have you fighting your way across the frozen Moscow region, and a roguelike RPG which mixes up the genre with real-time strategy elements.

First one up is For the King, a challenging blend of strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements. Each playthrough is unique with procedural maps, quests, and events.

The second free game is Metro Last Light Redux. In the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside and within. Equip your gasmask and an arsenal of hand-made weaponry as you face the threat of deadly mutants, human foes, and the terrifying environment itself.

Both games are free for download on the Epic Games Store until Feb. 12, at 12 a.m. All you need to do is sign up for a free account.
