What to do this weekend while waiting for the US election results

Published Nov 06, 2020 3:05 am

It's been over 72 hours since the polls closed in the United States for their 2020 presidential elections, but no final announcement has been made yet.

The US elections are important  for everyone around the world. And so while we wait for the news, or if you need a good break from politics, do other fun, mindless things to destress.

Here, we list down some activities you can do this weekend—from shows to binge watch, virtual tours to check out, and things to shop, we got you!

Watch true crime series

There's nothing quite like the thrill of attempting to solve a crime. We don't know about you but true crime shows are on our watchlist, such as the ones from hayu's lineup. There are over 40 true crime shows in this streaming app including Kim Kardashian-West's The Kim Kardashian-West Justice Project, Killing Versace, In Justice with Nancy Grace, Deadly Cuts, Snapped, Ice Cold Blood, and more.

They're partnering with Breakout Manila and Shoor for this culminating activity.

You can also watch the GOMO concert on November 7, 8PM, featuring 88rising stars like producer and pop star Joji, Indonesian singer and songwriter NIKI, and South Korean singer CHUNG HA.

Listen to Super Junior’s newest single

We know it's a good day for E.L.F.s because not only is it Super Junior's 15th anniversary today, but they're also launching their newest single,  The Melody (우리에게 ) tonight at 6PM KST! Celebrate with them by listening to their new song in anticipation of their 10th full album coming out in December.

Declutter and donate

Use your spare time this weekend to clean out and fix your closets! When you're done sorting out things that you want to keep or give away, why not donate those to the victims of the Typhoon Rolly? There are many organizations doing donation drives. Check out the list here.
