Curious about award-winning film ‘Triangle of Sadness’? Here’s where you can watch it
Didn’t get to catch the award-winning film Triangle of Sadness when it arrived in Philippine cinemas? You can finally watch it on your screens at home.
On its Facebook page, Prime Video Philippines announced that it will be available on the streaming platform starting Thursday, March 9. “The people have spoken! Triangle of Sadness is one of the must-watch movies this year and you can stream it on Prime,” the post read.
To watch the film, just get a subscription to Prime for P149 per month.
Directed by Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund, the satirical black comedy film revolves around the uber-rich, whose luxury ride capsizes and leaves them stranded on an island. It stars Harris Dickinson, Woody Harrelson, Henrik Dorsin, Zlatko Buric, Iris Berben, Sunnyi Melles, Vicky Berlin, and Oliver Ford Davies.
The movie also features the country’s very own Dolly de Leon, who has garnered several Best Supporting Actress nods for her incredible performance as toilet manager Abigail from prestigious award-giving bodies like the British Academy Film Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.
Triangle of Sadness premiered in Philippine cinemas in November 2022. It has received various accolades, including the prestigious Palme d’Or award. The movie also got an eight-minute standing ovation at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
