Philippines’ Roxanne Baeyens reflected on her reign as Miss Earth-Water hours before she crowns her successor in the prestigious pageant.

In an Instagram post, the Filipino-Belgian model wrote that she was “feeling somewhat sentimental as we are about to meet a new set of Queens who will absolutely make an impactful change for our home.”

“I know my spirit will never be the same just getting the chance to speak about what matters most,” she continued, adding that she’s all set for the next chapter of her life.

The Filipina beauty expressed her utmost gratitude to everyone who supported her throughout her journey. “Through the highs and lows, twist and twirlies, and some of the best days of my life—you were there.”

“Mother Earth, my advocacy stays with you. It’s my great honor and pleasure to serve you all the days of my life,” the beauty queen concluded.

Baeyens was crowned Miss Earth-Water at last year's tilt. Lindsey Coffey (United States) won the highly coveted crown, while Stephany Zreik (Venezuela) and Michala Rubinstein (Denmark) bagged Miss Earth-Air and Miss Earth-Fire, respectively.

The Miss Earth 2021 pageant is slated for Nov. 21. It's being live-streamed on Miss Earth’s YouTube and Facebook accounts as well as TFC, A2Z, and the VIP Pageantry app.
