DC Fandome will be a 'super experience' for fans
The countdown is slowly ticking on the biggest event for DC Comics this year. Completely free to everyone around the globe, DC Fandome: Hall of Heroes is a massive, 24-hour online event featuring panels from movies, television, comics, and video games attended by A-list celebrities and creators. It promises to be packed with exclusive footage and huge announcements in the DC universe.
Everything starts on August 23, at 1:00 a.m. Philippine Standard Time, at the DC Fandome: Hall of Heroes website. From there it will be an eight-hour show streaming three times over the course of 24 hours.
Featured panels include Wonder Woman 1984 with stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, and director/co-writer/producer Patty Jenkins; The Sandman universe with Neil Gaiman; The Flash filmmakers Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti, with star Ezra Miller and screenwriter Christina Hodson; The Suicide Squad with writer/director James Gunn presenting the panel as the ultimate elimination game; The Batman with filmmaker Matt Reeves; and much more.
Of course, it wouldn't be a DC event without one of the most talked about films that almost never was: The Snyder Cut of Justice League panel, with none other than director Zack Snyder who will be taking questions from fans.
One other notable highlight is the Warner Bros. Games Montrèal "announcement." The release says it will be a "first look at an exciting new game." Of course, the developer is known for Batman: Arkham Origins, and with teasers online pointing to a new Arkham-storyline game, it would be a huge disappointment if that would not happen here.
The event will also cover news and announcements on other DC properties such as The Flash and Titans TV shows, the upcoming Black Adam feature film with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Shazam!, Aquaman, and many more.
DC Fandome will no doubt have a ton of surprises not included in the official announcement, so keep your eyes peeled to the monitors.
