Marvel releases hour-long dancing Zemo from 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'
Fans demanded. Marvel delivered.
In case you haven't heard, Baron Helmut Zemo's fist-bumping dance scene in the third episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier recently took the internet by storm, prompting fans to mount an online petition for Marvel Studios to #ReleaseTheZemoCut.
Responding to the online clamor, Marvel finally gave what fans truly want and released an hourlong footage of the villain's dance scene. And boy, Zemo surely knows how to cut loose on the dance floor.
Check out the extended version below:
The #ReleaseTheZemoCut hashtag started trending on Twitter after Daniel Brühl revealed in an Entertainment Weekly interview that there's actually a longer cut of Zemo's fist-bumping dance scene in the show's "Power Broker" episode.
"It's so hysterical. [That moment] was improvised when I saw the crowd dancing, going loco. I felt the beat and was like, Zemo has been sitting in a dodgy German prison cell for years," Brühl said.
He added, "So, he needs to let off some steam and show his moves. Let's go for it! I enjoyed so much the reaction of Anthony and Sebastian looking at me. Still, I was 100 percent sure that they would cut it out [of the show]. I was really surprised and happy that they kept it. It was a long dance. There's more to it, but they cut this little moment. I didn't know what was happening, but I then received all these messages from my friends cracking up."
If you want to see more of Zemo, then you'll be glad to hear that the fourth episode ofThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier will drop later today on Disney Plus.
