Black-suited Superman fires up heat vision in new teaser of 'Justice League'
A few weeks from now, the once-mythical Snyder Cut will finally make its debut on HBO Max. And to tide fans over, director Zack Snyder dropped a new action-packed teaser that offers a preview of what we can expect from the upcoming superhero movie.
Ahead of a new trailer set to be released this Feb. 14, Snyder on Friday shared an 18-second footage from his highly-awaited film, featuring the redesigned Stepphenwolf, a turbo-charged Batmobile, and a bow-and-arrow wielding Wonder Woman. But perhaps the most interesting of all, is at the tail end of the clip, where we see a furious black-suited Superman firing up his heat vision.

Prior to the new teaser, Snyder also shared the new look of Jared Leto’s Joker in Vanity Fair. The director earlier confirmed that the appearance of Leto’s version of the Clown Prince of Crime in the Director’s Cut will be different compared to his look in 2016’s Suicide Squad.
In the photos, Leto’s Joker now has longer hair while his face tattoos have been removed. He’s also clad in a hospital gown, which Snyder said “is probably a remnant of his escape into the wild when the world fell.”
First described as a “road-weary” Joker, Snyder said that the DC villain will also be wearing “a bulletproof vest festooned with grimy law enforcement badges” in some of the scenes.
“He has tons of badges,” Snyder said. “Those are his trophies.”
For the uninitiated, Josh Whedon took the reins on Justice League’s post-production following Snyder’s departure, who had to take a break from work due to his daughter’s death. The storyline drastically changed under Whedon’s watch which also led to a disappointing box office performance, to put it lightly.
Snyder’s Justice League will be four hours long and will feature 2.5 hours of unseen footage, as well as four to five minutes of additional photography.
It will premiere exclusively on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
