Ned Fulmer has left The Try Guys after admitting that he cheated on his wife with a colleague.

The Try Guys announced Ned’s exit from the group on Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 28. “Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together,” they wrote in a joint statement, thanking their fans for their support as they “navigate this change.”

While they didn’t cite a specific reason for the split, Ned said in a Twitter post that he is now putting his attention on his marriage and his children—“the only thing that matters” at the moment—as he confessed that he “lost focus” and had a “consensual” affair with someone in his workplace. “I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel,” he said.

In an IG post, Ned’s wife Ariel expressed her gratitude to those who reached out to her during this trying time. “It means a lot,” she wrote.

“Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids,” she added.

Ned first appeared in a Try Guys video in September 2014, while the group was still working under entertainment company BuzzFeed. According to Entertainment Weekly, they later formed their own production company dubbed 2nd Try four years later. They have garnered nearly 8 million subscribers on YouTube as of late.
