WATCH: Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh share a kiss at the 2023 SAG Awards

All love!

Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh shared a kiss as the former reigned supreme in the Female Actor in a Supporting Role category at the 2023 SAG Awards on Monday, Feb. 27 (Philippine time).

In her acceptance speech, Curtis expressed her love for Yeoh, pointing out that the Malaysian star was a big factor in her decision to sign on in their award-winning film Everything Everywhere All at Once.

“Where is Michelle Yeoh? I say ‘Michelle,’ you say ‘Yeoh!” she told the crowd.

“Michelle Yeoh, I love you, I love you, I love you!” she proclaimed.

Yeoh bagged Female Actor in a Leading Role at the show, while Everything Everywhere All at Once emerged as the top winner in the Motion Picture Cast category, the biggest award of the night.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Curtis talked about the attention and appreciation that Everything Everywhere All at Once has been getting from various awards shows. "This is entertainment. This is the season of shiny things. It's beautiful attention. It's art. It's getting to see fabulous people in fancy dresses," she said.

"But we're all real people, and we live in a world that is at war. And it's a very tough life out there for most people, and they look at show business—or when I call show-off business—as a distraction,” added Curtis.

"It's entertainment, and if we're not having a good time doing it, if we look super serious, there's a problem," she added. "Because then the people watching us aren't having fun because we're not having fun. So guess what? We're having fun,” she continued.

The 29th SAG Awards were held at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The ceremony was streamed live on Netflix’s official YouTube channel.
