Marvel reveals ‘glorious’ first look at Disney Plus series ‘Loki’
The God of Mischief is back in the new trailer for Disney Plus’ upcoming Marvel series Loki.
During Disney’s Investor Day on Friday (Manila time), Marvel Studios unveiled a sneak peek at the new spinoff series featuring Tom Hiddleston as the mercurial villain.
In the clip, Loki takes advantage of the bedlam and uses the Tesseract (Space Stone) to evade arrest. The trickster demi-god then wakes up in the middle of nowhere and ends up in the hands of Owen Wilson’s unnamed character, who apparently works for the Time Variance Authority or TVA.
The six-episode series, which takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, will debut on Disney Plus in May 2021.
The cast of Loki also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant and directed by Kate Herron with Michael Waldron serving as head writer.
