Horrific holidays await in ‘Toys of Terror’ trailer
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, and the toys given and received during this festive occasion are always a great reminder of how fun and exciting the holidays can be. But what will you do if those same toys suddenly turn evil and violent?
That’s the premise behind the upcoming horror film Toys of Terror a movie about demon-possessed toys that are manipulating a family to turn on each other.
Warner Bros. Entertainment just dropped a two-minute trailer for the movie and from the looks of it, it seems like the Yuletide doesn’t look so merry after all.
Here’s the synopsis:
It’s not all fun and games when the Cashman family arrives at the old orphanage where they’ll be spending their Christmas getaway. But the discovery of a stash of old toys in an abandoned playroom seems to turn things around, as kids Franklin, Zoe, and Alicia take to them instantly. But as the kids begin to act stranger and stranger and refuse to part with their new playthings, their nanny Rose begins to suspect that the toys themselves might be alive, and manipulating the whole family. As the body count rises, and the family refuses to heed her warnings, it’s up to Rose to save everyone, before history starts repeating itself and traps them there forever.
Toys of Terror is written and executive produced by Dana Gould, while directorial duties were handled by Nicholas Verso. The firm stars Kyana Teresa, Georgia Waters, Verity Marks, Dayo Ade, Saul Elias, and Zoe Dish.
Toys of Terror is currently streaming on video-on-demand services. Meanwhile, the Blu Ray and DVDs are scheduled to go on sale on Jan. 19, 2021.
