WATCH: Netflix drops teaser for Part 2 of 'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area'
The greatest heist the world has ever seen is heating up!
Netflix has just released the teaser for the second part of Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, the South Korean adaptation of the original Spanish crime series that premiered in 2017.
The action-packed teaser is filled to the brim with chaos and tension as it continues where the group of criminals left off in their goal to pull off the ultimate heist while escaping with their lives.
Adopting similar elements from Spain's La Casa De Papel, the Korean series follows the long-divided countries of North and South Korea on the verge of a peaceful reunification.
As they make preparations to print a new unified currency, a genius strategist gathers a group of thieves who are the top of their class from both countries to pull off the ultimate heist and steal the new cash straight from the mint.
Helmed by Kim Hong-Sun, Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area PART II will consist of six episodes. Reprising their roles from the first part are Yoo Ji-Tae, Kim Yunjin, Park Hae-Soo, and Jeon Jong-Seo.
The series will premiere on Netflix on Dec. 9.
