New month, new food news, deals, and releases!

We are welcoming the start of -ber months this year with so much excitement for days in and nights out with good company and good food on the side. There’s a lot of great promos worth checking out in the food and beverage scene this month: from massive discounts, to new products, flavors, and beyond.

Keep your eye on this space as we share with you a quick roundup of special offers from brands and restaurants sure to delight you this September.

Burgers are the ultimate go-to comfort food of many for good reason. They're meaty, filling, easy to eat, and simply delightful. If burgers are one of your favorites, you’d be happy to know that Wendy’s Philippines has two new must-tries made for serious burger lovers: the new Bacon Jalapeño Chicken and BBQ Bacon Melt, featuring perfect amounts of crunch, zest, and spice. Each one costs P175 for a la carte and P225 with fries and drink.

Craving for pizza and wings? Domino’s Philippines has introduced new flavors on their menu. Now part of their pizza lineup are the New York Buffalo Chicken and California Franks both starting at P469. They also have baked wings in other flavors like Hickory BBQ, Honey Mustard, and Spicy Buffalo priced at P349 for a box of six.

If you’re up for some unlimited pasta, Mama Lou’s has an exciting promo that will run on Sept. 7, 12-14, 19-21, and 26-28 in all its branches. There’s a variety of variants to choose from, including Carbonara, Bucatini Amatriciana, Mama’s Pesto al Pollo, Lucio’s Truffle, Spaghetti Bolognese, Vongole Olio, Spaghetti Meatballs, Lasagna, Spaghetti Con Tuyo, Arabbiata, and Truffle Mac and Cheese, all for just only P550.

It’s a good time to be a quarter-lifer this year as CIBO is treating 25-year-olds to a free meal until Sept. 30 in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Just make sure to present a valid ID and bring one companion with you to enjoy the promo at any CIBO branch. “Meal share computation will be divided by the number of guests, VAT inclusive. Only one 25-year-old per transaction may avail of the promotion,” the Italian restaurant noted.

Looking for healthy alternatives to white rice? You might want to try Harvester’s®️ brown rice or black rice that could help you achieve your health goals this month. The rice is said to help reduce blood sugar levels, risk of heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. Of course, this still has to be eaten in moderation and balanced with protein sources, fruits, and vegetables, as well as proper physical activities on the side.

Want to learn how to cook healthy at home? CCA Manila is now offering a new Plant-based Foundation Course, where students can learn how to make healthy plant-based meals. Culinary students can learn how to bring in more plant-based ingredients into their daily lives with plant-based cuisine and food from around the world. Aside from the online courses, CCA Manila is also offering hands-on plant-based training in its Maginhawa and Antipolo satellite campuses to equip students with the right cooking techniques—from cooking vegetables, grains, legumes, and dairy-free alternatives. CCA Manila is also set to open a new campus in BGC campus this year.

Comfort food favorite Ramen Nagi is now open in the South, particularly in SM Sta. Rosa and SM Lipa. Since it arrived in the Philippines in 2013, the Japanese brand has opened 30 branches in the country with signature hot bowls of ramen that Filipinos continue to love and enjoy. It’s set to open six more branches before the end of 2022.
