There's a limited edition KFC perfume with a BBQ scent
Love the aroma of barbecue so much that you want it bottled?
Popular fast food restaurant chain KFC has unexpectedly revealed its first-ever limited edition perfume, which creators claim can leave one “practically tipsy with hunger,” as reported by The Mirror.
KFC UK recently announced the launch of No. 11 Eau De BBQ as a complement to their latest Ultimate BBQ Burger menu item.
As stated on their website, the scent aims to mimic "that unmistakable aroma of a BBQ drifting through the air, tantalizing our senses and leaving us craving the taste of smoky goodness."
No. 11 Eau de BBQ is concocted with smoky wood and charcoal notes reminiscent of the smell of barbecue, while its base notes feature a lingering scent of a woody, earthy foundation.
"At KFC, we’re all about thinking outside the (burger) box, so, naturally, when we created a burger so irresistible, we had to bottle it! Behold, No 11 Eau de BBQ – capturing the mouth-watering scent of our brand-new Ultimate BBQ burger, which allows you to sizzle with every spritz," Phoebe Syms, Brand Manager at KFC&I, said.
Costing £11 (~P790) per 100 ml bottle, the first batch of this exclusive fragrance has already sold out, with a new batch expected to drop on May 6. However, they will never be sold again once stocks run out completely at the official online shop.
