The 'Star Wars'-themed hotel in Disney World is now open
It's Star Wars Day! What better way to celebrate this special occasion than to actually live like them at the newly-opened Star Wars-inspired hotel in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida?
ICYMI, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has opened last March 1, 2022, and its more than just meeting your favorite Star Wars characters—it's a whole experience!
Nestled in the Epcot Resort Area in Florida is Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, more famously known as the Star Wars Hotel, is a two-night experience where you're immersed in your own space voyage.
Here, you get to meet and interact with Star Wars characters you know and love, stay in a starcruiser, man the bridge, tinker with the inner workings of your spacecraft, and explore the planet Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. And of course, what Star Wars fantasy would be complete without some lightsaber dueling?
Since it's a two-night stay, the Galactic Starcruiser gives visitors the option to stay in a fighter-themed cabin or suite. Otherworldly meals are served at the Crown of Corellia Dining Room for breakfast and lunch. Here, you can try the blue milk just like Luke Skywalker did.
The Galactic Starcruiser adventure starts at $1,209 (~P64,000) per guest per night for a two-person cabin, $899 (~P47,000) per guest per night for a three-guest cabin, and $749 (~P39,000) per guest per night for a four-person cabin.
Currently, they have openings for weeknights from August 20 to September 17, 2022. They aren't accepting bookings online yet, but for those interested may call +1 (407) 939-1800 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Eastern Time. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.
May the Force be with you!
