Japan's Warabimochi Kamakura opens first store in Manila with a Buy 1 Take 1 promo

Once a treat reserved for the upper class, warabi mochi is now readily available in the modern market, thanks to brands like Warabimochi Kamakura. And guess what? The viral mochi sensation you've been seeing all over your feed is finally arriving in Manila.

Warabimochi Kamakura, the mochi brand that has taken the internet by storm, is set to delight Filipinos with its melt-in-your-mouth desserts. It will open its first store at Level 3 of SM Mega Fashion Hall on Jan. 12.

Made with bracken starch, these delicate treats are paired with homemade kuromitsu, a black sugar syrup crafted exclusively from Okinawa Prefecture, offering a deep and rich flavor that complements the natural taste of kinako (roasted soybean flour). It is available in Kinako and Matcha flavors.

Complementing their signature mochi, Warabimochi Kamakura introduces unique beverages infused with chewy warabimochi pieces, available in flavors such as Matcha, Hojicha, Strawberry, Coffee, Lemonade, and Matcha Lemonade.
