Fine dining under the sea: The Aqua Dining Experience is coming to Manila Ocean Park
Raring to go on a special dinner date with a truly unique view? Manila Ocean Park has got you covered.
The metro's ocean adventure park is taking a page from its Cebu counterpart with Aqua Dining Experience.
Every Friday and Saturday of September, the park will be opening the ocean floor starting 6:30 PM to treat guests to a fine dining experience under their oceanarium walkway tunnel.—all while 14,000 marine creatures swim overhead.
With the view of seawater creatures as the backdrop, the dinner will feature a full course meal starting out with a delectable bruschetta, served alongside grilled chicken Caeser salad and pumpkin soup for appetizers.
The main dish will be Sirloin steak and salmon. Finally, the night will be topped off with mango creme brulee or opera cake for dessert.
The six-course meal with steak and salmon is priced at P1,899 / pax for premium seating, while the five-course dining experience is at P1,399 / pax. Visitors must reserve a spot beforehand, as they don't accept walk-ins.
The first Aqua Dining Experience in the country started in Cebu Ocean Park, with the Manila park following suit. Netizens on social media have been enthusing about Cebu's underwater dining spot since it began in early 2021. And with Cebu offering their underwater dining on a regular basis, the same is likely to happen with the Metro Manila counterpart.
Shortly after announcing the dining experience, the September dates have quickly sold out, with Manila Ocean Park sharing with PhilSTAR L!fe that they are set to open more dates in the coming days.
Manila Ocean Park is located at the Quirino Grandstand, 666 Behind, Ermita, Metro Manila. Check out their Facebook page for further updates.
