Robinsons Malls makes Christmas extra special for everyone
It's all sparkle and joy as Robinsons Malls unveils its Christmas decor with the theme “Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Pasko sa Robinsons Malls.”
The pandemic may have hit the country hard this year, but Robinsons Malls remains steadfast in bringing back the spirit of the holidays. Lose yourself in three different themes, each thoughtfully designed and assembled to rekindle the fire of the holiday mood.
At Robinsons Galleria, a Scandinavian Village is set up, with a minimalist winter wonderland concept, with animated Christmas trees and theatrical lights. Bring the family and relive the Christmas cheer this year with a 35-foot tree luxuriously decorated with handcrafted ornaments, including 3D snowflakes, candles and snowman.
“This year, we want to remind our customers of the light and love that still reign, despite the situation we are all in. And we want our Christmas attractions to stir up feelings of pure joy, love and hope,” said Arlene Magtibay, SVP and general manager of Robinsons Malls.
Large geometric stars and snowflakes hanging from the atrium complete the merry glowing colors of silver, ice blue and gold: a picture-perfect backdrop for family and friends.
“The themes were carefully chosen from many options to ensure that it’s something new, special, evoking messages of hope, joy and celebration—and also IG-worthy,” she said.
Over at Robinsons Place Manila, a Crimson Christmas Garden awaits mallgoers with decorations akin to the majestic gardens of Alice in Wonderland. It’s fantasy meets adventure, surrounded by deep reds of the season. Immerse yourself amid giant Christmas balls, and massive flora and fauna. There are animated butterflies and blossoming roses. Look up and see chandeliers of gold, and giant flowers with golden shooting stars. Sit in the garden and marvel at this exciting theme topped by a 40-foot Christmas tree.
A Golden Sparkle adorns Robinsons Magnolia. Inspired by the golden sparkle of the holidays, the 42-foot Christmas tree is jazzed up with capiz parol accents. Golden light glows from inside the tree, warming up weary hearts in these trying times. There are golden balls, capiz stars, and lit spangles accented with gold trimmings like jewelry bands. Capiz parols of varying designs are highlighted in a snow globe to wrap up the snow effect. The globe itself is spruced up with white twig trees lit with little firefly lights.
An elegant Sparkling Ball Tree sits at Robinsons Magnolia Garden. The hundreds of golden sparkling Christmas lights huddled together were inspired by the shimmering lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. This outdoor Christmas tree is a sight to behold for mallgoers and passersby. Like its Parisian inspiration, the tree is made of durable steel components.
Troop to any of the three Robinsons Malls in the metro and jump-start that Christmas spirit with a festive atmosphere livened up by piped-in Christmas music, stunning Christmas decor, attractions and special Yuletide offers.
“There’s no stopping us from celebrating the true meaning of the season. Tuloy na tuloy pa rin ang Pasko. As resilient people, life goes on. The pandemic is a testament to this. No matter what happens, Filipinos unite as one family and one nation in the spirit of love, joy and hope,” Magtibay said.
Activities and events are lined up at each mall, including the Countdown to Christmas, Smiles of Christmas Photo Contest, an exclusive Holiday Music Video and Spotify Christmas Playlist, Tree There will also be lighting events across different malls, special promotions and offers together with partner-tenants, and various community support programs.
“By continuing with well-loved traditions, we hope to recreate a sense of normalcy in our shoppers’ lives,” Magtibay said. “We want them to be reacquainted with—and invite them to once again feel—the joys of the holiday season and beyond.”
