LOOK: There’s a sunflower field that’s just three hours away from Manila
In case you're in need of some travel escapism today, here's something that will spark your wanderlust: sunflower fields. And no, you don't need to travel to Tuscany, Italy or Spain or Taiwan to set your eyes on these bright yellow beauties because there's one just hours away from Manila.
Located in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, the newly-opened Pacific Blooms has an estimated 30,000 stems of tall, bright yellow blooms that paint the stunning landscape. It blooms during the height of summer, between April to May each year, giving tourists a sight to behold—not to mention the best Instagrammable background!
To get in, there's an entrance fee of P50 per head. And to ensure safety, everyone is required to wear face masks and face shields, and practice social distancing. Temperature will also be scanned at the entrance.
Aside from taking pictures, you can also purchase flowers to take home, which will help their farmers earn during this pandemic.
So, if you're looking for your next roadtrip destination, be sure to make a stop at this flower field.
