Cathay Pacific offers Buy One, Get One promo on Hong Kong tickets until April 30

Been wanting to explore or revisit Hong Kong with a friend? Here’s how you can do so for less.

In a Facebook post, Cathay Pacific announced its Buy One, Get One deal on HK tickets for the entire month of April—if you book them via their partner travel agencies in Manila and Cebu.

The deal is available until April 30, with a travel period until Nov. 30.

In February, the Hong Kong-based airline offered residents across Southeast Asia 80,000 round-trip air tickets to Hong Kong—with 20,400 of them for residents of the Philippines—as part of the region’s efforts to boost the tourism industry.

For more than two years, Hong Kong had strict protocols surrounding COVID-19, following China's policies.

It reopened in May 2022 but with strict restrictions, requiring tourists to present negative PCR tests, go on hotel quarantine, and conduct self-arranged rapid antigen tests.

Aside from Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific also has an ongoing seat sale offering domestic and international flights for as low as P1. The travel period for the promo is from Aug. 21, 2023 to March 31, 2024.
