Kanye West teases collaboration with Muji's Naoto Fukasawa on reimagined McDonald's packaging
Kanye "Ye" West is no stranger to dipping his toes in different ventures. Aside from music, he's done footwear, apparel, and interior design. From his latest Instagram post, it looks like the rapper will be making waves in food next as he collaborates with Muji's Naoto Fukasawa to "reimagine" McDonald's food packaging design.
West posted a photo of a new box design printed with the burger's ingredients and the golden arches logo on top. It looks like a square-shaped burger at first glance, but it's actually just the box.
"Ye teams up with legendary industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to reimagine McDonald's packaging," the Donda rapper wrote on May 24.
The Yeezy maker added that the packaging design for the fries will come next week.
This isn't the first time West teamed up with McDonald's as the rapper appeared in a commercial for the fast food chain's Super Bowl commercial.
On the other hand, Fukasawa has worked with and for companies like Herman Miller, Alessi, B&B Italia, Magis, HAY, and realme.
