Published Mar 02, 2021 8:55 pm

Get packing and your swimwear ready as Cebu Pacific’s three-day PISO sale starts today! From March 3 to 5, passengers can book flights for as low as P1 base fare as the carrier celebrates its 25th anniversary this month. Travel period is from June 1 to Dec. 31.

CEB’s PISO fare applies to all domestic and international destinations on sale. The carrier introduced this trademark promo in 2004.

There is also the month-long P25 seat sale until March 31 for domestic flights; travel period is from March 1 to Dec. 31.

With this special #CEBSuperSeatFest, passengers can go to popular beach destinations such as Cebu, Puerto Princesa, Bohol, Boracay, Coron and Siargao on P1 base fare.

"In our 25th year, we remain humbled to be part of our passengers' stories and life journeys. We are in full support of the simplification of travel requirements, and expect to welcome more guests onto our flights in the coming months," said Candice Iyog, vice president for marketing and customer experience.

CEB is encouraging passengers to use their “Travel Funds” on their CEB accounts to book new flights. Online payments will be accepted on all three days while payment center option starts on March 4.

“Recent surveys show a lot of us are looking forward to traveling again, and we are very excited to welcome you all on board, especially now that requirements for domestic travel are starting to ease. We continue to do what we can to boost passenger confidence and spur travel, for #MoreSmilesAhead with everyJuan,” Iyog continued.

CEB pioneered the PISO sale in 2004 to democratize travel. As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, the carrier “aims to give back to everyJuan who have been instrumental in its growth story.”

Cebu Pacific currently flies to 28 domestic destinations from its Manila and Cebu hubs, and five international destinations from Manila: Dubai, Hong Kong, Nagoya, Seoul, and Singapore.

Yesterday, the carrier announced the permanent removal of change fees for rebooking flights, which means passengers can rebook their flights as many times as they want, while the fare difference still applies. The carrier used to charge regular rebooking fees of P1,500 for domestic, P1,300 for international short haul, P2,800 for international long haul.

The IATF recently issued Resolution 101, which states that COVID-testing is no longer required for local travel—unless the LGU of your destination requires it. This means that for certain high-traffic destinations you may still need to take an RT-PCR test (the only kind of test allowed for domestic travel now).
