LOOK: IKEA Philippines unveils Christmas 2022 collection
Christmas decorations are up, festive songs are playing, and the most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner.
That’s exactly the vibe at IKEA Philippines, which has just dropped its holiday collection featuring various items that easily set the right tone for the much-loved season.
Dubbed VINTERFINT, the new line showcases textiles, tableware, lighting fixtures, adornments, and so much more. While we usually deck out our entire home with all things Christmas-y, the home brand decided to put the focus on Noche Buena, when families usually gather to make new memories over delicious food to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Starting from the main entrance, you’d be welcomed to a lovely Noche Buena set-up perfect for the kids and kids at heart.
Another beautiful table setting awaits at the showroom, which you’d absolutely love to emulate for your own abode. Ranging from P150 to P250, the items include soft toys, unscented candles, red and clear bottles with stoppers, plates, mugs, cake stand, among others.
There’s another dining set-up at the market hall that shows “more addition to the tradition.” Here, you can find similar items from the VINTERFINT bunch that you can merge with other things you might already have at home.
Lights are a must-have for every space, especially during Christmastime. The Swedish furnishing brand made it a point to provide a variety of options—from minimalist lights to more striking designs that are sure to up the mood for the holidays.
Looking for design inspo for your living room? IKEA PH has a myriad of options for it, including a comfy green armchair (P15,990) that you can amp up with a plaid pattern to match your holiday theme. Seal the deal with some “Yule Goat” figures (P890) handmade with straw. In case you didn’t know, goats are seen as Christmas symbols in Sweden as they are believed to be gift-givers who can even take the role of Santa or simply be his best companions.
Last but not the least is the bedroom. The space IKEA fabricated evokes equal amounts of cheer and relaxation. Aside from a tiny tree, there are also festive lights and lanterns (P290) that go well with the bed set-up with shades of red and grayish green.
