Several airlines have been offering seat sale promos to celebrate their respective anniversaries, inasmuch as they've been banking on an influx of "revenge travel" amid the country's improving COVID-19 situation.

Cebu Pacific, for one, will launch a P25 one-way base fare rate sale from Dec. 12 to 14 to cap off its 25th year.

The airline said travel period for over its 56 routes—including Bohol, Boracay, Camiguin, Coron, Siargao—will run from July 1 to Nov. 30, 2022.

“We continue to ramp-up our network to address the anticipated demand in 2022, while continuing to promote safe and responsible travel amidst the pandemic,” said Candice Iyog, CEB Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience.

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL), meanwhile, has raffled off 8,000 lifetime flight miles to 80 winners and 80,000 lifetime flight miles to 8 winners to mark 80 years since it has taken to the skies.

PAL's raffle promo is open to all of its Mabuhay Miles members who purchased tickets from Aug. 8 to Dec. 15. They'll earn one raffle entry per P80 spent.

For AirAsia's 20 years of flying, it's offering guests a P20 base fare for Dec. 6 to 20 bookings: from Manila to Cebu, Puerto Princesa, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Kalibo, General Santos, Zamboanga, and Bacolod.

Travel period is up to Sept. 30, 2022.

The carrier said it is also offering its "20% OFF HOTEL STAYS" promo from Dec. 1 to 20.

“People now have the confidence to plan for their future trips as reflected in the forward bookings from 31-120 days," AirAsia spokesman Steve Dailisan said. “While travel restrictions have been significantly eased and simplified...[s]trict adherence to health and safety protocols must be observed on ground and in flight."
