On Facebook, the airline company announced on Friday, August 18 saying passengers can book flights from Manila, Cebu and Clark to select destinations for just P1 one-way base fare.
The booking period is from August 18 to 27 while the travel period is from Feb 19, 2024 - Jan 19, 2025.
To enjoy the deal, just sign up for a membership on the AirAsia Super App using your mobile phone and create an account via Gmail or through its website. From there, you can start booking your flights.
Meanwhile, Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has raised the fuel surcharge rate to Level 6 covering Sept. 1 to 30 of this year following the recent increases in oil prices.
According to its advisory, fuel surcharges may depend on the distance. It means that for domestic flights, fuel surcharges would range from P185 to P655 for each passenger. International flights, on the other hand, would run from P610.37 to P4,538.40.
CAB noted that fuel surcharge remains “an optional fee” that would be collected by airlines to recover fuel costs.
Air carriers wanting to collect fuel surcharge should file their application with CAB, the agency added.
