Flying via the Clark International Airport? Maximize your time at the Plaza Premium Lounge
The newly-upgraded Clark International Airport (CRK) is slowly but surely getting back on track in terms of the frequency of international and domestic flights.
The airport is beneficial for travelers and OFWs especially those based in Northern and Central Luzon. As of this writing, the airport currently services flights to/from South Korea and Singapore plus long-haul flights to/from Dubai and Qatar.
During pre-pandemic times, there were a limited number of dining places or activity areas for passengers waiting for their flights. There were also minimum aesthetic spots where one can take souvenir photos.
Now, travelers can enjoy the lush greeneries and decent view of the Mt. Arayat while at the boarding area.
The good news is CRK now offers a lot of options to passengers including access to the Plaza Premium Lounge, which is part of the the world's largest independent airport lounge network.
What makes the Plaza Premium Lounge special?
Normally, major airlines have a designated lounge in airports where first-class and business class passengers have exclusive access. With the Plaza Premium Lounge, you can access amenities as long as you pay the corresponding fee of the service you want to avail.
The Plaza Premium Lounge is perfect for business travelers who need to catch up with work, and leisure travelers who want to unwind and recharge while waiting for boarding or transit. The lounge can accommodate up to 130 passengers at a time.
The Plaza Premium lounge offers a variety of seating types, styles and configurations that will fit every passenger’s needs. You can work or study with a WIFI connection, charge your gadgets, read a book or watch TV. It also features a snack buffet area with a selection of local and international cuisine with a self-serve coffee and drink section.
The lounge admission is currently available at P2,480 for a two-hour use. If you simply want to freshen up and take a shower with soap, shampoo and towel provided, you can also pay P650 for 30-minute access to the lounge. Looking for a place where you can have a cigarette break? As long as you pay P800, you can use the smoking room.
TGM Root98 for your JAKO Cravings
If you simply want to dine and drink, passengers may also access TGM Root98 even without paying for the Plaza Premium Lounge 2-hour fee.
The name ‘TGM Root98’ originates from the ‘root’ or first year of operation of the Plaza Premium Group (1998). The restaurant offers Japanese and Korean (or JAKO) dishes that are sourced locally. They also offer plant-based and vegan food options.
Some of the selections at the moment include Tonkatsu Curry Don, Beef Bibimbap, Beef Gyudon, Japchae and Korean Tofu Stew. Most of the servings are good for sharing.
Make Travels Better with ALLWAYS
If you’re a first-time traveler or you want a smooth and hassle-free experience at the airport, the Plaza Premium has also introduced ALLWAYS–a Meet & Greet service which was first introduced in the Philippines in 2019 at the Mactan Airport.
Located at the Level 3 Departure Hall, where CRK passengers can come in accompanied by immediate family members, ALLWAYS provides a one-of-a-kind airport experience starting with a meet and greet service during Departure, Transit and Arrival to coordination till transportation pick-up point.
While at the ALLWAYS Lounge, passengers may sit and drink refreshments at leisure while the staff take care of the baggage handling, luggage wrapping and other concierge services.
One of the highlights of the ALLWAYS services is the fast track assistance (Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) checkpoints), bundled Plaza Premium Lounge services, airport transfer plus a dedicated concierge services of hotel booking, flower bouquet arrangement, dinner reservation and business centre services. This is perfect for those who would like to surprise an arriving passenger in a grand way!

P2P Buses To/From Clark International Airport
Point-to-Point or P2P buses now travel to/from CRK. Here are the current active routes:
FROM METRO MANILA: NAIA 1, 2 and 3; Trinoma/SM North and Robinson’s Galleria via Genesis Transport
They also offer regular P2P services to Subic, Dagupan, Baguio and Vigan. Isn’t that convenient?
