US Krispy Kreme to give free donuts to those who present their COVID-19 vaccination card every day this year

What a sweet treat!

Krispy Kreme is giving a free Original Glazed donut to dessert lovers who present their valid COVID-19 vaccination card every day at any branch in the United States for the rest of the year (yes, you read that right). 

As of this writing, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the US is now at 29,652,483. A total of 127 million vaccines have thus far been administered, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

This is just one of the initiatives that the well-loved brand has made in terms of the fight against coronavirus. As per BusinessWire, it “will support health care workers and volunteers who are helping administer vaccines, delivering free doughnuts to select vaccination centers throughout the country in the coming weeks.” 

Additionally, Krispy Kreme is allowing each employee four hours of paid time off for COVID-19 vaccinations for their health and safety. “We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said chief marketing officer Dave Skena.
