LOOK: Muji opens its biggest store in the Philippines
Nearly 11 years since the global flagship store first opened in 2010, Japanese retailer MUJI has opened its biggest store in the Philippines yesterday, Mar. 5.
The Japanese household and consumer goods retailer, known for minimalist branding across fashion, beauty, furniture, homeware, and more has renovated their Shangri-La Plaza branch into a 1,400-square meter store—almost four times its original size!
Inside the store, MUJI will expand their product line and services, wherein some will be exclusive only to the branch. It will also provide customers with nearly 4,000 products that reflect MUJI’s design philosophy of form, function, and quality.
You can find a whole new section of storage items that can be mixed and matched to accommodate different space and taste.
And if you're looking for stuff for your bathroom, there's also another section just for that.
Part of their “All Value, No Frills” philosophy, MUJI also brings in their gender-neutral clothing line called MUJI Labo, where they provide basic clothing for all ages, sex, and sizes.
You can also find a section for loungewear including sleepwear, undergarments, and bedroom slippers.
Other than retailing, the store will also house a workshop area called Open MUJI where events will take place. MUJI also offers free in-store consultation services for all your needs, be it fashion, interior, or storage needs.
For now, the number of visitors to the store will be limited to follow the health and safety protocols.
