Food Wanderer: What to expect in this new food-themed museum in Parañaque

If you're looking for ways to perk up your weekends beyond dining al fresco or binge-watching films, then you're in for a sweet treat.

On September 11, a new food-themed museum opened its doors to foodies, travelers, and all those who want to have fun in the South. Located in Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque, the art gallery, called "Food Wanderer x Lakbay Museo," features 3,000 square meters of gigantic art installations and interactive fixtures inspired by the vibrant and tasty delicacies of the Philippines.

The museum includes more than 10,000 replicas of regional and exotic dishes, grains, beans, and native fabrics that will give you a glimpse of the country's rich history. The collection also includes crowd favorites like adobo, lechon, and bulalo.

When you're inside the museum, you will see various iconic destinations in the Philippines which are all Instagram-worthy. You’ll also get to learn community games and festival dances, plus take photos of you and your barkada with the 2D art paintings created by Filipino artists.

You can also show your creativity in the Pinta room, cook native delicacies in the Kulinarya room, and build your own slime inside Slime o'holic.

And here's a big bonus: You can even bring your fur babies with you for more fun!

Food Wanderer x Lakbay Museo is located on the 2nd floor of Filipino Village, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Paranaque City. It is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm, for an entrance fee of P699 when you book online and P799 for walk-in guests.
