Carolina Bamboo Garden Philippines plants learning seeds

By ANTHEA GRAPE Published Oct 12, 2024 5:00 am

Bamboo is a well-loved plant. Its tensile strength is greater than that of steel, creates creative aesthetic designs, and also offers natural air conditioning. It produces 35 percent more oxygen than other plants, which increases wind flow at the pedestrian level. Bamboo brings a refreshing breeze that saves every Juan from today’s rising heat index.

In addition to all the benefits it provides, experts say that bamboo also plays a vital role in saving the environment.

Carolina Bamboo Garden Philippines invites every Filipino to join the movement for a greener future armed with the strong bamboo.

Carolina Bamboo Garden Philippines knows this by heart. Owned by Carolina “Tita Kay” Jimenez, this garden isn’t a regular one. It also runs Bambustem, one of the many bamboo genebank conservation areas in the Philippines.

This October, Carolina Bamboo Garden Philippines invites every Filipino to join the movement for a greener future armed with the strong bamboo.
