It’s the dream home store for many Filipinos who, for many years, have had to pay for overweight luggage every time they shopped at IKEA abroad. Known for its Scandinavian aesthetic and affordable prices, IKEA furnishings are popular for both starter apartments and forever homes.

With the opening of IKEA Philippines at SM Mall of Asia nearing, the Swedish company is launching IKEA Family Day on July 7. IKEA is expecting 100,000 new members to sign up within the first 24 hours.

The home store’s loyalty club “has more than 150 million members globally as it aims to reach, inspire, and support members in creating their dream home,” according to IKEA PH.  Members get special benefits, rewards, experiences, and surprises all year round.

To sweeten the membership even more, IKEA is giving all members who register in the first 24 hours a chance to win one out of three IKEA Home makeover packages worth P50,000 with exclusive design consultation with IKEA interior designers.

Winners will be announced on IKEA Philippines’ official Facebook page  July 10.

IKEA Family is free and completely digital. To register, visit family.IKEA.com.ph anytime, anywhere using your mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Interested members must be at least 21 years old and currently use a valid Philippine mobile number to register.

A great kitchen begins with efficient appliances, which IKEA also offers.

After registering, members will enjoy special prices in-store at IKEA Pasay City, earn reward points from the online store and get a chance to receive invites to IKEA pre-opening events.

The membership club is for everyone “who wants to make life at home better—from those whose homes are their passion, to those who are just starting out and need a helping hand.”
