Woman arrested after locking boyfriend in her home so he wouldn’t cheat on her

A woman got arrested after trapping her boyfriend in her house for three days to prevent him from cheating in their relationship.

According to local media, the Argentinian woman and her lover of six months got into a heated argument that pushed her to delete a messaging app from his phone, which she later destroyed. 

With the intention of making him stop having conversations with other women and keeping him faithful to her, she decided to trap him in a room for a few days. 

The police got the 29-year-old victim out of the locked area after he found a way to get a hold of his girlfriend’s phone and ask someone for help. They also arrested her during the rescue.

When questioned by authorities, the man explained that his partner has always been the jealous type and that she even set a curfew for the times he hung out with his friends. 

“She threatened me that if I didn’t arrive at such and such a time or another, she would come to wherever I was to look for me,” he told the police. 

The 30-year-old woman has been charged with illegal deprivation of liberty.
