LOOK: Meralco's Liwanag Park returns with twinkling decorations in time for Christmas
Christmas lights truly have a magical way of transforming the holiday season into a merry wonderland. We see it in our homes, at the malls, and on the streets. Luckily, there are stunning holiday light displays all over the country, just waiting to be explored. One of which is Meralco's famous Liwanag Park.
The local electric power distribution company has reopened its iconic holiday display filled with colorful and hypnotizing lights and installments.
As the park is quite spacious, guests can enjoy a train ride where they can drink their fill of the impressive Christmas spectacle. The rides open at 7 p.m. and will run until 9 p.m. It can accommodate up to 16 guests at a time and is on a first-come-first-served basis.
You can marvel at the gigantic installment depicting the all-too-familiar story of Jesus' birth in a manger in Bethlehem, and capture unforgettable memories at the park's tunnel of lights and in front of Christmas trees of various colors.
And for those who want to take selfies, there's an Instagrammable light tunnel within the compound.

The park is open on Mondays to Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and it is extended until 11 p.m. on Fridays to Sundays (and public holidays). Liwanag Park is here to stay until Jan. 6 next year, so make sure to make the best out of the experience!
