The Filipino women’s football team is kicking off its historic FIFA Women's World Cup debut on Friday, July 21 in Australia and New Zealand.

The team's debut appearance in the prestigious competition came after winning against Chinese-Taipei in the quarter-finals of the Asian Football Confederation Women’s Asian Cup last January.
