PNP has person of interest, witness in Arvin and Lerma Lulu killings
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said that they have identified a witness and a person of interest in connection with the murder case of prominent online sellers Lerma “Mommy Lerms” Lulu and Arvin Lulu.
According to GMA News Online, although local authorities believe that the killing of the married couple was planned, the motive of the suspect has yet to be determined.
"As to the motive, wala tayong concrete na motive po pero base sa account ng family, it's either business at may umutang sa kanila," said Police Lieutenant Colonel Joy Gollayan, Mexico Police Station chief.
Over the weekend, Lulu and Arvin were reportedly shot dead inside their car in Mexico, Pampanga.
In a report by 24 Oras Weekend, a black pickup carrying the victims, as well as their child and a young relative, was followed by two people riding a motorbike in Brgy. Sto. Rosario, according to surveillance video.
In the video, the riders stopped the motorbike amid heavy traffic. They casually walked toward the pickup, allegedly opened fire on the couple, and quickly left the area.
According to the police investigation, Arvin sustained six gunshot wounds, while Lerma sustained three. During the incident, Lerma's teenage cousin and their six-year-old child were present.
