'I have never cheated on Jason': Moira Dela Torre breaks silence on split with husband
Singer Moira Dela Torre broke her silence days after her collaborator husband Jason Hernandez announced that they're ending their three-year marriage—saying she's never been an unfaithful wife.
After the news of their separation broke, some netizens came up with wild speculations about the couple's relationship.
"In spite of the pain I'm experiencing, let me set the record straight," Dela Torre said in a statement late June 3. "While our marriage was not perfect, I have stayed true to my vows and I have never cheated on Jason."
"Though we're no longer together, it still hurts to see fabricated stories being told about us—most of which are so far from the truth," Dela Torre said.
"I only wish to put an end to the speculations regarding what happened between Jason and I," she said, noting that their situation "has not been easy" for them and their families.
Hernandez in a Facebook post last May 31 announced "with a heavy heart" that they're "parting ways," disclosing that he had been "unfaithful" to Dela Torre during their marriage.
