One-of-a-kind K-pop fan experience

KCON:TACT 2020 is the much-anticipated follow-up to the successful first season of KCON:TACT held in June, which attracted roughly four million viewers from over 150 countries to celebrate 33 K-pop artists, including Mamamoo, Kang Daniel, Stray Kids, Monsta X, GFriends, IZ*ONE, among many others, in its seven-day run.

Aside from a much longer run, KCON:TACT 2020 promises a unique K-Pop fan experience and spectacle by incorporating augmented reality, mixed reality, and eXpanded Reality technology throughout the festival.

A recent report by Opensignal, an independent mobile analytics firm, shows that Smart consistently offers a much better video experience to subscribers compared to the competition for the past seven quarters starting in Q3 2018.

Smart’s video experience score increased from 42.4 points to 53.5 points, a rise of 11.1 points (26.3%) between Q3 2018 and Q1 2020.

In its April 2020 Mobile Network Experience Report for the Philippines, Opensignal also noted that Smart remained ahead of the competition in terms of video experience, upload and download speed experience, voice app experience, games experience, and 4G availability.

Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis, recently named Smart as the country’s fastest mobile data network in the first half of 2020 after it achieved a speed score of 18.33, with average speeds of 15.94 Mbps for download, and 7.57 Mbps for upload, based on 2,810,963 user-initiated tests taken with Speedtest.
