Binibining Pilipinas 2023: Coronation night updates, finalists, winners
It's that time of the year again when the Philippines is crowning its new queens!
Tonight, May 28, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. is finally choosing two of its 40 candidates to represent the country on the global stage of the Miss International and Miss Globe pageants happening later this year.
Following the National Costume, swimsuit, and evening gown rounds earlier this month, this year's coronation night will see the candidates being narrowed down until the organization announces who will succeed the reigns of Bb. Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2022 Chelsea Fernandez.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-Up Nicole Cordoves, and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa will serve as hosts for the grand event. Performing for the show include Vice Ganda, Darren Espanto, and P-pop boy group ALAMAT.

Binibining Pilipinas 2023 winners announced
Meet the queens who will represent the Philippines in the 2023 editions of Miss International and Miss Globe!
Palawan's Angelica Lopez and Bataan's Anna Valencia Lakrini have been crowned as the next Binibining Pilipinas International and Binibining Pilipinas Globe respectively.
The two bested 38 other candidates from all over the country. They will now take over the reins of Nicole Borromeo and Chelsea Fernandez, who were the previous representatives to the Miss International 2022 and Miss Globe 2022 pageants respectively.
Katrina Anne Johnson of Davao del Sur is first runner-up, while Atasha Reign Parani of General Trias, Cavite is named second runner-up.
Reigning queens take their final walk
Reigning queens Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabrielle Basiano, Bb. Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez, and Bb. Pilipinas International Nicole Borromeo have bid farewell to their reign as they graced the pageant’s stage with their farewell walk.
The queens took the opportunity to thank all of the important people who have helped them in their journey and talk about the lessons they have learned.
Binibining Pilipinas finalists showcase wit and intelligence in Q&A portion
One step closer to the crown, the remaining candidates displayed their intelligence and wit in the question-and-answer portion of the pageant.
The questions, asked by the judges, revolved around knowing more about the queens' personalities and priorities, such as their advocacies, personal values, whether it's important for them to express political views, how they're maintaning happiness amid joining a pageant, and more.

Top 11 candidates stun in elegant dresses in evening gown segment
The Binibining Pilipinas candidates embodied the beauty and allure of the night sky during the pageant’s evening gown segment.
The pageant had its 11 remaining candidates capture the hearts of the audience members through their charming smiles and graceful walks as they showcased their embellished gowns crafted by their chosen fashion designers.
Afterwards, Laguna's Trisha Martinez was named as the best in evening gown.
Top 11 queens strut in their swimsuits to a song from Vice Ganda
The Top 11 aspirants are brimming with confidence as they walked the stage in their orange two-piece swimsuits with pink straps and elegant capes during the swimsuit competition.
To make the segment even more exciting, the Unkabogable Vice Ganda sang her latest single Rampa—a song she specifically wrote for Binibining Pilipinas—while wearing an eye-catching ensemble with silver-colored leaves from her back.
At the end of the segment, Bataan's bet Anna Valencia Lakrini was named as winner of the swimsuit competition.
Meet the selection committee
Hosts Nicole Cordoves and MJ Lastimosa introduced the night's panel of judges who will choose who the next Miss International Philippines and Miss Globe Philippines are.
The panel of judges who will deliberate the winning queen are Hidilyn Diaz, William Vincent Marcos, Jasmin Selberg, Peter Zwiener, Honey Lacuna, Piolo Pascual, Small Laude, Anton San Diego, Dolly De Leon, and Josh Cullen.

The Binibining Pilipinas pageant has now announced the Top 11 queens who will be moving on to the next round of the pageant.

Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg makes her appearance
Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg has graced the stage of the Binibining Pilipinas finals night to give her support to the 40 delegates.
She wore a gorgeous embezzled dress that is capped off with her majestic crown.
Selberg represented Germany at the 60th edition of Miss International, where she succeeded Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand to become the next titleholder.

The Binibining Pilipinas 2023 grand coronation night has finally begun!
The 40 candidates introduced themselves to the crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as they wore purple see-through dresses that made them shine like the queens they are.
During the introduction, Darren Espanto made sure to make the night an exciting one as he welcomed the crowd with an energetic song.
The Filipino-Canadian certainly looked dashing in his glittery blazer and pants as he performed his rendition of Win Your Heart, the theme song of Binibining Pilipinas.
