Commuters shared sentiments over a now-viral post about the said station, saying it's the least boarded point among all LRT-2 stations.

On Twitter, a certain user posed the question: "meron ba talagang bumababa o sumasakay ng [B]etty [G]o [B]elmonte station?" It garnered mixed reactions from netizens online.

One train commuter reacted, "AKO BEH MINSAN." 

Others shared their experiences of how convenient to board at the said station, "Nearest station from our place. Okay nga dito, wala masyado tao. No lines."

While there we were some who questioned the same thought on the ridership, "Now that you've said it, oo nga noh? Parang wala ako nakikita....."

The Light Rail Transit Authority, meanwhile, responded to the trending post claiming that the station has recorded the highest ridership of 2,280 in 2023.

Located at the New Manila in Quezon City, Betty Go Belmonte station is also point to nearby establishments such as Trinity University of Asia, SMDC Condominium, Boston Art Gallery, and many churches around. 

Twitter user JM responded again, sharing a new video he took of the station. "[I] have proof! [J]ust rode [the] [LRT] today and no one still moved an inch," he said.

Formerly called Boston station, Betty Go-Belmonte station was named after a Filipino-Chinese journalist and publisher. As the daughter of newspaper magnate Jaime Go Puan Seng, founder of The Fookien Times, she eventually established the Philippine Daily Inquirer and STAR Group of Publications.

Go-Belmonte was also the late wife of House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. In 1994, she passed away at 60 years old due to cancer.
