Auditions for new 'Goin' Bulilit' cast to be held this May

It's time for a new batch of kiddos to shine under the spotlight!

ABS-CBN has announced that it is reviving its sketch comedy show Goin' Bulilit soon and will be holding auditions for the new cast this May 25, nearly five years after the show ended in 2019.

According to their video announcement, the auditions will be held at the ABS-CBN Audience Entrance in Quezon City from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Keep in mind, however, that only children aged five to 10 years old will be eligible to be part of the revival series.

Some of the requirements needed include the child's profile portfolio and their close-up and whole body printed photos. They must also be ready to "sing, dance, act, and tell a joke."

The original Goin' Bulilit first premiered in 2005 and aired every Sunday night on the network's Yes Weekend! block. The show is primarily composed of child stars who act in various comedic sketches and segments, with the exception of adult actor Romeo "Dagul" Pastrana.

Once the kids grow older, however, they "graduate" from the show to pursue other projects. Dagul is the only permanent batch member, but there has yet to be confirmation on whether he will return for the new batch.

Some famous celebrities who came from Goin' Bulilit include Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Miles Ocampo, Kiray Celis, Nash Aguas, Mika Dela Cruz, Alexa Ilacad, Belle Mariano, Zaijian Jaranilla, Andrea Brillantes, and more.

The series came to an end in August 2019 and was replaced by Rated Korina in its time slot. The revival is now slated to air on ALLTV "very soon."
