The Police's Sting, Fatboy Slim, Imagine Dragons, and other musicians, as well as politicians and athletes, will come together in a two-hour charity concert in support of Ukraine amid Russia's military invasion.

Save Ukraine - #Stop War, which will take place in Warsaw in Poland on March 27 at 17:30 CET (11:30 p.m. Philippine time), will see over 50 guests, including Within Temptation, Bastille, BrainStorm, Beissoul & Einius, Salvador Sobral, Idina Menzel, and Nino Katamadze.

Ukraine's homegrown talents Okean Elzy, Tina Karol, The HARDKISS, and many others will also make an appearance.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko will address the audience alongside model and writer Maye Musk, Olympian tennis players Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk, gymnast Lilia Podkopayeva, football legend Andriy Shevchenko, and more.

Nataliya Morozova, chief executive officer of Havas Village Ukraine, told PhilSTAR L!fe that even if a concert is a form of entertainment by nature, it's a kind of event that helps inform the general public about the situation as the presence of artists there shows that they support Ukraine.

"Artists are strong opinion leaders who allow themselves to present important topics to the community," Morozova said. "When (they) get involved in political or social problems, it is incredibly valuable," noting that Ukraine needs the support of the entire world "today more than ever."

She said that they've already lost their statuses as managers or bosses in their respective companies, as they have bigger responsibilities now as volunteers and defenders of Ukraine a month since the war broke out.

"Our team is in a safe Ukrainian region and in different parts of Europe," Morozova said, adding that everyone has found their place and is trying to be "useful."

"Such a unity, as we feel now in our team, in all Ukrainian community probably has never happened," she added.

Save Ukraine - #Stop War will be broadcast on Polish television channel TVP.

The telethon will be available on all of Ukraine's channels, like 1+1, ICTV, STB, 2+2, Ukraine, Inter, Rada, UA: Pershyi, as well as online platforms TET, Novy, M1, NTN, K1, and Kyivstar TV, 1+1 Video, YouTV, MEGOGO, Oll.tv, Sweet.tv, and Volia.

Over 50 countries will also rebroadcast the telethon on their local channels. The Philippine STAR will livestream the event on its Facebook page.

Save Ukraine - #Stop War will also be screened in the squares of many major cities and capitals, including Berlin, London, Rome, Milan, and Tel Aviv.

"Ukraine is in huge need of help given the impending humanitarian crisis," Yaroslav Pakholchuk, 1+1 chief executive officer and Atlas Festival co-owner, said in a press release.

"Thus, we are talking about it out loud, we will keep talking about it in the future. [Talking] with the help of journalism, with the help of music, with the help of hundreds of thousands of people united all over the world."
