Aim high, Trans Pinays!
Miss International Queen Philippines (MIQPH) has unveiled its roster of delegates as it holds its 2024 pageant in time for International Women's Month.
In a social media post, the pageant organization announced this year's candidates, amplifying transgender empowerment.
"As we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere, we present to you our Miss International Queen Philippines 2024 Official Candidates," the caption read.
The set of candidates for this year's edition was picked by its respective regions in the country through a regional pageant. Likewise, the Filipino community from international countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom, and Italy also sent their representatives for this year's pageant for transgenders.
"Pilipinas… here are our queens representing every culturally beautiful region of our archipelago and abroad."
It added, "Through their grace, intelligence, and compassion, they will redefine beauty standards and inspire generations to embrace diversity and equality."
The coronation will be on Sunday, April 14, at Aliw Theater in Pasay City.
Tickets are available via SM Tickets with prices ranging from P1,100 (Platinum) to P3,200 (VVIP).
Lars Pacheco, who ended her Miss International Queen journey in the Top 6 in Thailand, will crown her successor.
The Philippines has three Miss International Queen crowns, with Fuschia Anne Ravena winning the most recent title in 2022, Trixie Maristela in 2015, and Kevin Balot in 2012.
