Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs that were violently abducted from her dog walker were returned unharmed, said the Los Angeles Police Department.

The canines were brought to the police station at 6 p.m. on Feb. 26 Pacific Time by a woman who appeared to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with the kidnapping, said Capt. Jonathan Tippet, LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division commanding officer.

In a series of tweets that night, the LAPD said that the woman had found the dogs “and reached out to Lady Gaga’s staff to return them.”

Lady Gaga’s representative and detectives went to the station and confirmed that they were the dogs, Tippet said.

“The woman’s identity and the location the dogs were found will remain confidential due to the active criminal investigation and for her safety,” LAPD tweeted.

The French bulldogs were taken from Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, in a violent robbery on Hollywood Street at around 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 24 Pacific Time.

He was walking Lady Gaga’s three dogs—Koji, Miss Asia, and Gustavo—in the 1500 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue when a white sedan pulled up and two men jumped out.

The suspects struggled with Fischer before one pulled a semi-automatic handgun, fired a single shot on him, then fled with Koji and Gustavo. Paramedics treated the dog walker on the scene where he was seen holding the third dog, Miss Asia, before rushing him to the hospital.

The following day, Lady Gaga announced on Instagram that she’s offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her dogs “no questions asked.” The pop superstar is currently in Rome to shoot a film.

Tippet said he does not know if the woman who returned the dogs will receive full recompense because the police were not involved with it.

As for Fischer, LAPD said he is in “stable condition after the shooting, and his injuries were described as being non-life-threatening.”

“LAPD Robbery Homicide Detectives will continue to investigate to ensure the persons responsible are ultimately arrested and brought before justice,” they added.
