Another one for the Philippines!

Palawan's Hidden Beach has placed 19th in Condé Nast's Traveler's 34 best beaches worldwide.

According to the list published on Friday, Feb. 23, Hidden Beach, one of the well-known beach spots in El Nido, Palawan, has been included in the United Kingdom-based travel publication list.

In the said article, the beach was described as "one of the world's best," "surrounded by imposing limestone cliffs," and "startlingly bone-white sand."

Moreover, its "small keyhole-like opening" makes the place more exciting for the visitors as they must climb through it to have access to the breath-taking lagoon comprised of "crystal clear, shallow water surrounded by white sand and majestic limestone walls with lush greenery and palms."

Filled with "pristinely" beautiful spots, Condé Nast said that travelers could book their stay at various El Nido hotels.

Meanwhile, Australia's Palm Cove Beach is at the top of the list, followed by Honopu Beach in Hawaii, Breckon, Shetland, Wategos Beach in Australia, and Ora Beach in Indonesia.

The inclusion of Hidden Beach in the prestigious travel publication's list recognizes its unparalleled beauty and uniquely diverse resources, which the Department of Tourism (DOT) celebrates in a social media post.

"The Department of Tourism (DOT) is celebrating yet another recognition received by El Nido, Palawan's Hidden Beach, as renowned travel media company Condé Nast Traveller shortlisted the tourist-favorite and award-winning destination as part of its global 'best beaches' list this year," the caption read.

2023's 3rd best beach in the world

Before this, Hidden Beach was also recognized last May 2023 as it was included in The World's 50 Best Beaches list as presented by pharmaceutical company Banana Boat. The list was based on its beach ambassadors, global travel influencers, journalists, editors, and agents.

As per its website, Hidden Beach is "truly one-of-a-kind" and an "unparalleled paradise," tucked away behind towering limestone cliffs, making it impossible to see from the outside and only accessible by boat and a quick swim through a small opening.

"As it is located in a secluded area, it will be more challenging to reach, but the journey will be well worth it!" it wrote.

Furthermore, Banana Boat said that Hidden Beach is "accessible year-round with great temperatures every month of the year" with its cove that is "well-protected from wind and waves, making it ideal for jumping into the ocean."

More than its astounding lagoon, Hidden Beach also houses remarkable spots every traveler can enjoy.

These include some props used in the Swedish version of the hit adventure show Survivor as it once filmed on the beach, a place to witness endangered clownfish, found at around three seaweed havens across the beach.
