Toni Gonzaga joins Villar-run network, AMBS 2: ' I’m so happy to be part of your family'
Toni Gonzaga has officially signed onto a new network.
The actress and host has inked a deal with the Manny Villar-run broadcast media company, Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) Channel 2 alongside her husband, director Paul Soriano.
Thank you for the warm welcome AMBS," Gonzaga shared on Instagram. "I’m so happy to be part of your family! I’m so excited for our partnership and I can’t wait to share with you ALL that we have been working on in the coming days."
During the contract signing, the two were joined by Manuel Paolo Villar and AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino.
The move comes months after the host stepped down from her long-running hosting stint with ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother. She served as the main host of the reality show for 16 years.
Both Gonzaga and Soriano have been vocal supporters in the campaign of Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte. During Marcos Jr.'s proclamation rally, she was the night's main host and introduced the two then-candidates.
Gonzaga has since been regularly uploading celebrity interviews on her YouTube channel, ToniTalks. She also sang the Philippine national anthem during Marcos Jr.'s inauguration.
Last July, TV personality Willie Revillame was also one of the well-known showbiz names who also signed onto AMBS as a "kababayan," their moniker for their talents. The network is set to launch this October.
