Home of Beyonce’s mom burglarized, over P55 million in cash and jewelry stolen—report
The Los Angeles home of Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, has reportedly been burglarized.
According to a report by TMZ, the police said that she lost over $1 million (P55 million) in cash and bling as her entire safe was stolen by alleged thieves.
The singer’s mom was out of town when the incident took place last week. She only knew about it when her friend dropped by her place and told her that her valuables were gone.
While it’s unclear where Tina was when it happened, it’s worth noting that she posted a video from Beyonce’s Toronto stop for her Renaissance tour just last weekend.
An investigation into the case is ongoing. Authorities are in touch with other residents in the area for some leads.
According to entertainment portal Page Six, this comes just a few months after a man was arrested for “causing a disturbance” and throwing rocks at the mailbox of Tina’s LA estate.
As stated in the report, he “was allegedly behaving erratically and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold.”
